Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I've always had a strong work ethic and determination, and I think that comes from growing up in a family that has instilled those values in me. My husband is amazing and just above and beyond super supportive, which has made such a difference. Throughout my career, I've had key mentors that helped shape me and were there to lean on with the smallest thing or the biggest thing. I think just having that supportive, close-knit environment has definitely helped me get to where I am today. Having people around you who believe in you and support you makes all the difference in achieving your goals.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would honestly say ask questions, because being curious shows interest and translates to being agile in the work environment. It's a strength that I don't think everyone realizes, especially for women in a male prevalent industry. I think sometimes we're intimidated, but asking questions shows that you're confident. It means that you are invested, that you want to learn more, you want to understand what maybe other departments are doing, and it might eventually lead to a career path for you. If you don't ask, you just make assumptions, and we don't know what we don't know. Looking back at my younger self, I had the education but not real-life experience. I wish I asked more questions back then. Currently my role is under a director level, which I'm very proud of, but maybe I would have been there a little sooner if I had asked more questions.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Forecasting tariffs and securing raw materials. This is a global struggle that needs constant attention. Juggling other parts of your workload might mean shifting priorities. Realizing when and leaning on your extended team is critical to success. Trying to do it all at once will

lead to burn out.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are maintaining a strong work ethic and determination, cultivating supportive relationships with family, my spouse, and mentors, and making time for self-care.
