What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don't be afraid to try it out. There is so much to do in the telecommunications industry, and it can be scary because it is ever-changing, but there's so much opportunity, there's so many fantastic people that you can meet. I've been blessed with being able to move around the country. This is now my third move. Honestly, just give yourself the chance, and you never know where it might take you.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Just keeping up with everything that's always changing in the industry. Obviously, AI is a big game changer now, right? So being able to learn the new products, as well as show how we're still beneficial to help out businesses and companies, even though things are going significantly digital. Kind of seeing where we still offer those products to be able to help those businesses, and just provide additional support for them that maybe they don't know that they need, I think is where the biggest challenge has come out as of recently.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are building meaningful connections with like-minded professionals, maintaining a commitment to continuous learning, and staying adaptable in the face of change. I place strong importance on professional growth, particularly when it is driven through collaboration and the exchange of diverse perspectives.
