Her Story

About Rachel

I'm the owner and CEO of Rachel Veltri Photography, where I market myself as an artist. I've been a wedding photographer for 10 years, and what makes me one of one for my services is that I really prioritize an artistic approach to how I capture families, weddings, and all of those things. I am very much an artist, and I think that definitely contributes to how I approach my photography style. My work isn't just limited to weddings - I capture human connection as a whole. I do a lot of destination weddings, and for productions and other more creative portrait sessions, it's more local to Colorado. One of my most notable professional achievements was photographing my first huge Indian wedding last September in 2024. It was a three-day experience and just the most beautiful cultural experience I've experienced as a wedding photographer. It really opened so many doors for me of wanting to do more of that, and I really loved that experience. I've been awarded The Knot Best of Weddings from 2020 to 2024, which has been an incredible recognition of my work in the industry.

Ten minutes with Rachel

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my deeper, divine creative spirit, and maybe even my inner child that's helped me get to where I'm at right now. I attribute it to my creative soul. I feel like my artistic nature and that creative spirit within me has been the driving force behind everything I've accomplished in my photography career.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My greatest piece of advice to young women entrepreneurs is to just wholeheartedly believe in themselves, and not be scared to try things that feel scary. I know that's easier said than done, but the believing in yourself thing is one of my biggest things that I wish that I had more encouragement of in my beginning stages of starting my career. Don't give up and don't be harsh or mean to yourself, you know? Just truly, fully believing in your dream and chasing that.
