Her Interview
Ten minutes with Rachel
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success first to community and the people in my network who have helped me along the way. Being a self-starter has also been key, as no one else will care about your career as much as you do.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The people really make the position, and the way that you find any role is through the people in your network. It's really important to make really good relationships, cherish those relationships, help other people, and they'll turn around and help you when you need it.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Diligence and hard work are important, along with holding on to your integrity as much as you can. Also holding onto your creativity, finding ways to not just work but to have fun and to feed your heart and feed your brain.
