About Radhika
Radhika Raman is a tax professional with more than six years of experience in U.S. taxation, tax compliance, and financial analysis. Her expertise spans corporate, partnership, individual, and State and Local Tax (SALT) matters, with a particular focus on private equity clients and complex partnership structures. She currently serves as a Tax Senior in EY’s Financial Services Organization in Boston, where she advises clients on multistate tax obligations and manages state tax notices and controversies.
Before her current role, Radhika built extensive experience with EY and Deloitte Tax LLP, preparing and reviewing federal, state, and local tax returns, developing tax calculations, supporting IRS and state notice responses, and supervising and training tax professionals. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Financial Analyst, conducting financial benchmarking, equity research, ratio analysis, credit analysis, and financial modeling. Her performance and commitment to client service have been recognized through multiple awards, including Spot Awards, a Monetary Appreciation Award, and an Applause Award.
Radhika holds a Master’s in Accounting and Analytics from Rochester Institute of Technology’s Saunders College of Business, along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with a focus on Finance and a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Accounting. She combines strong technical tax knowledge with analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Her professional interests also include leveraging technology and artificial intelligence to improve tax processes, and she is pursuing her CPA credential as she continues to develop her career in taxation and financial services.

I attribute my success to the unwavering support of my parents and my faith in God.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received from a professor was to prioritize fulfillment and happiness in my work rather than feeling limited to a specific career path.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women entering accounting to pursue the field with enthusiasm and confidence, recognizing that it has evolved far beyond traditional paperwork into a dynamic and diverse profession.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I see significant opportunities in accounting, particularly through experience at Big Four firms such as Ernst & Young, Deloitte, KPMG, and PwC, which can provide valuable professional growth and career development.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I value punctuality, ethics, and creating a supportive environment where people feel comfortable sharing their concerns. I also strive to maintain emotional balance while remaining ambitious, focused, and goal-oriented.
