About Radhika

Radhika Sarin is the Founder of Social Intelligence, a competitive listening and social intelligence consultancy that helps organizations transform social data into actionable business insights. Through Social Intelligence, she enables companies to better understand competitive landscapes, market trends, customer behaviors, and product positioning by delivering intelligence that supports go-to-market strategies and informed decision-making. With more than 12 years of experience in marketing, social intelligence, and digital strategy, Radhika has built a career centered on research, analytics, and developing strategic frameworks that connect social insights with measurable business impact.

Radhika’s professional experience spans leading Silicon Valley technology organizations, including Intel Corporation and Pure Storage, as well as marketing agencies, branding firms, digital organizations, and research environments. Throughout her career, she has led global social media strategies, competitive intelligence initiatives, social listening programs, integrated marketing campaigns, executive thought leadership efforts, and data-driven brand activations. Her ability to combine market research, technology, and storytelling has positioned her as a strategic leader in helping organizations rethink social media as a powerful source of intelligence rather than simply a communications channel. She credits mentors and industry leaders, including Christy Sullivan from Intel, for providing valuable guidance, encouragement, and support throughout her professional journey.

Originally from India, Radhika completed her early education before earning a Master of Arts in Marketing from the University of Westminster in the United Kingdom and completing additional programs through the University of California, Berkeley. She continues to expand her expertise through professional certifications and industry engagement, including her involvement with the American Marketing Association, where she participates in educational programs and plans to contribute thought leadership through future publications. Passionate about innovation and continuous learning, Radhika believes the future of marketing lies in embracing emerging technologies, maintaining a growth mindset, and using data-driven insights to create meaningful connections between brands and audiences. Through her work, she continues to help organizations unlock the strategic value of social intelligence and build stronger, more informed marketing ecosystems.

Ten minutes with Radhika

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the guidance and support of the mentors, colleagues, and agency partners I have had the privilege of working with throughout my career. Their expertise, collaboration, and diverse perspectives have continuously challenged me to grow and expand my capabilities. Working in marketing has also provided me with the opportunity to experiment with emerging platforms, innovative technologies, and new approaches to reaching audiences, allowing me to remain adaptable, curious, and forward-thinking in an ever-evolving industry.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is to work hard and play hard, while approaching both with intention, discipline, and honesty. Success requires dedication and rigor, but it is equally important to take time to recharge and prioritize personal well-being so you can return with renewed energy and perspective. I have also learned the importance of building genuine relationships and creating meaningful connections, as strong professional bonds and collaboration are essential to long-term growth and success.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the marketing and social intelligence industry is to keep their horizons open and embrace a growth mindset. Every opportunity, challenge, and experience can contribute to personal and professional development, so remain curious and willing to learn from each situation. Take the time to understand how different areas of the business connect and how various disciplines work together, as having a broader perspective will help you become a more strategic, adaptable, and impactful leader.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest opportunities in my field are centered around rethinking social media strategy through the power of social intelligence and social listening. Organizations have the opportunity to move beyond traditional engagement metrics and leverage real-time insights to better understand audiences, anticipate market trends, strengthen brand strategies, and make more informed business decisions. One of the key challenges is the current lack of adequate tools and technologies within many marketing stacks, which can make it difficult to effectively capture, analyze, and activate social data at scale. Addressing these gaps will be essential for organizations looking to unlock the full strategic value of social media.
