Dr. Rae (Rachel) Dahn, Ph.D., is a women’s health expert, science communicator, and fertility and hormone mentor whose mission is to help women reconnect with the wisdom of their bodies. As the founder of Thrive With Dr. Rae, she combines over a decade of scientific research in endocrinology and reproductive physiology with a deeply personal understanding of the challenges women face through fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum. With warmth, humor, and compassion, Dr. Rae translates complex health science into empowering, approachable guidance that helps women move from confusion to clarity and from burnout to balance.

A proud University of Wisconsin–Madison alumna, Dr. Rae earned her Ph.D. in Endocrinology and Reproductive Physiology, where her research focused on hormonal physiology and endothelial health in pregnancy. Her work has been published and presented internationally, and she has been recognized with prestigious fellowships from the NIH and other leading institutions. Beyond academia, she is a Master Certified Health and Wellness Coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, specializing in holistic, family-centered care.

Through her speaking engagements, mentorship programs, and online education, Dr. Rae continues to bridge the gap between science and soul. Her approach reflects a belief that true wellness comes from understanding, self-compassion, and connection—and that every woman deserves to feel informed, confident, and at peace in her own body.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to slow down and stay present—whether that means journaling every day, taking a walk with my dog Leo, or spending time with my husband Patrick and our son George Oliver, because creativity and clarity come when life feels balanced.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are integrity, curiosity, and compassion—bringing science and soul together through my years of research in endocrinology and reproductive physiology and my work as a coach and speaker to help women feel seen, understood, and empowered.
