About Rain
Rain Delaware is the Founder of Big Brain Business Solutions, a CRM software support and design company she launched in 2024. Based in Clearwater, Florida, Delaware built her career through hands-on experience in marketing, social media advertising, CRM development, and business automation. In 2019, she entered the marketing field with a small social media advertising firm, where she developed her skills as a marketer. She later began building CRM systems for clients and worked as a marketing manager before turning her business idea into a rapidly growing venture. As a self-taught professional, Delaware developed her expertise through practical experience and continued learning. She completed her high school education through a homeschool program and holds HighLevel certifications related to the CRM platform she primarily uses. As a member of Success Champion Networking, where she currently serves as Chapter Vice President of The Fractionals, Delaware specializes in solving complex business infrastructure challenges through CRM design, sales automation, marketing automation, and ongoing system support. Her work focuses on helping businesses organize their pipelines, improve follow-up, strengthen client communication, and create efficient systems that reduce manual work while supporting growth. Delaware's approach is grounded in honesty, trust, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering quality work. She believes in being selective about the clients she works with so she can maintain high standards and provide meaningful support rather than focusing solely on volume. Her experience as one of the longer-running users of the software gives her a practical understanding of how to apply its capabilities to real business challenges, allowing her to provide direct and straightforward guidance. As a mother of two, Delaware credits her success to the support system around her and remains focused on helping business owners build reliable systems that keep leads engaged, improve customer relationships, and create sustainable growth.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Rain
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute a lot of my success to having a good support system outside of work, and definitely just being very top of my field. I am one of the longest-running users of the software. I am able to really be honest and communicate, and I don't sugarcoat things when I'm talking to clients. The combination of having a good support system behind me so that I'm able to build my business as well as really shining the honesty and the integrity and the communication through my work makes a huge difference in success.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
You have to be willing to turn potential clients away. There are some people who you'll agree to work with out of desperation and they really do become the thing holding you back. Be selective about who you're bringing on. Do not drop quality in the name of quantity. Nurturing relationships is one of the most important things in business. Nothing is ever going to be perfect. Perfection is the enemy of growth. You have to plant the seed.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's very important when you're a woman in business to be able to hold your own space and be comfortable being around people who you may have to do more to prove yourself to. You have to be able to hold your own and navigate those situations very gracefully but also in a way where you're not getting walked on. Keep your own energy but understand that sometimes you do have to jump into a different mindset or energy in order to really grow a business. Be willing to say no if you don't want to work with someone. Be willing to be an expert in your field.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is that there are a lot of people who market themselves as doing what I do but in my industry specifically, especially with the changes in AI, a lot of people are pushing themselves as an expert when they're just getting started or have built something with AI without figuring out the boundaries. You need to use AI to do what you know how to do, not what you don't know how to do successfully. It builds distrust if people run into others who have not known what they were doing.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, trust, and open communication are the values I consider most important in both my work and personal life. I believe strong relationships are built on transparency, authenticity, and a willingness to communicate openly. When interacting with others, I value their ability to be honest, approachable, and genuine, and I strive to demonstrate those same qualities in everything I do. I believe that clear communication and mutual trust create a strong foundation for meaningful and productive relationships.
