What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
For young women entering sales, my advice is to cultivate resilience and remain strong-willed. It’s essential not to let frustration or setbacks derail your progress. Embrace challenges as opportunities to learn and grow, stay focused on your goals, and trust in your ability to navigate the ups and downs of the industry with confidence and determination.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, perseverance, and a commitment to helping others succeed. My career journey began in car sales, where I navigated a male-dominated field and benefited greatly from the guidance of my mentor, Diane Anderson. I later transitioned to real estate and found tremendous fulfillment in new home sales, especially seeing the excitement on clients’ faces as their homes were built. Throughout my career, I have embraced opportunities to mentor and train others, particularly through my work with Equity Residential, and take pride in helping my teams improve performance, achieve results, and receive recognition for their efforts.
