About Randi

I am a trauma-informed, narcissistic abuse recovery coach, author, and former podcast host. I've been doing this work for over 15 years, helping people around the world heal from narcissistic abuse. My personal journey began in my own survival - I grew up in a narcissistically abusive environment and carried the effects of that trauma into my early adulthood. I struggled with self-doubt, unhealthy relationships, nervous system dysregulation, and really no connection to who I was. Eventually, I came to understand what I had gone through, and I realized that healing wasn't about fixing something that was broken, it was about finding myself and reclaiming what had been there all along, under the trauma. What began as my own recovery journey became my life's mission. I was a stay-at-home mom until I was in my 50s - I'm 66 now - so I've built all of this since my mid-50s. When my second child was getting ready to go away to college, I said to myself, you know what, I need something for me now. It started with writing my memoir about my life, and then learning how to promote the memoir, learning about business, setting up a website, and all of those things. I'm completely self-taught and self-administrated. It's me, myself, and I - my husband takes care of my bookkeeping, but other than that, I do everything myself. I've published 4 books, including my most recent book called The Post-Narcissistic Reality Hangover, which I published in January. I was a podcast host for over 12 years and interviewed more than 500 people in those 12 years. I stopped doing that to focus on my coaching work. Through my coaching, articles, and weekly newsletter, I have had the privilege of supporting thousands of survivors - people who believed that they had lost themselves forever. I was part of the beginning of bringing awareness to narcissistic abuse and the language around it. When I started doing this over 15 years ago on LinkedIn, there were maybe 5 to 10 other people doing anything close to this work. Now there are hundreds of pages of people who help with narcissistic abuse.
