She is a distinguished academic leader and accounting scholar with over 25 years of experience at Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business, currently serving as Senior Associate Dean of Faculty and Administration, where she provides strategic leadership for faculty affairs and administrative operations. She holds the Ernest W. and Robert W. Schaberg Chair in Accounting and has been a Professor in the college since 1998. Her research and teaching have made significant contributions to the field of accounting. She holds a PhD in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, where she earned a 4.0 GPA and was awarded the Albert Wesley Frey Prize. She is recognized as a visionary, collaborative, and dedicated academic leader who is deeply committed to advancing business education, supporting faculty excellence, and fostering student success.
