I am a Level 2C certified pelvic health clinician and serve as a teaching assistant for Herman & Wallace certification courses. I hold a DPT from NYU and am involved in a project at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Research Center working with post-prostatectomy patients. I volunteer with the Bowery Mission and Repertory of Harlem.

Ten minutes with Ranjitha

01What do you attribute your success to?

My thirst for helping and impacting under-preserved communities is where success is for me. I am still learning and building myself up towards helping more.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

My professor advised me to do more for yourself before you do for others. Remember to take one moment at a time and be kind.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

There's nothing you can't do. Especially in the field of pelvic health. It's important to impact as many as you can, but also take care of yourself.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge is more awareness towards pelvic health. My waitlist is very long because there are few clinicians treating males, and patients with chronic pelvic pain wait two to three months to see me.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Work-life balance is most important so that I can pour from a full cup. I value being creative through dance, painting, cooking, and reading, and sharing those with friends and family.
