About Raphaella

Raphaella Fontenot is a direct client services professional and advocate with more than 20 years of exposure to the field and 8 years working as an advocate in the nonprofit and social services sector. She currently serves in direct client services at the peer-led nonprofit Community Against Sexual Harm in Sacramento, where she supports individuals through client-focused services, particularly survivors of trauma and loss. Her journey into this work stems from personal experiences that led her to create nonjudgmental spaces for processing grief and finding support, and she is committed to being an instrumental advocate who helps others through active service. Fontenot holds an associate degree in sociology, social work, and social science. She is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in psychology at Grand Canyon University, with an expected completion in 2028.
