Her Story

About Raquel

Raquel Ferraz de Campos is a Senior Global Planner for Modern Work and Security at Microsoft, where her career spans two decades. She designs end-to-end customer experiences for global products such as Microsoft 365 and Copilot, partnering with marketing, sales, commerce, and engineering teams to create smooth online purchasing journeys. Working remotely from Montverde, Florida, she supports a worldwide team across Australia, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Brazil, and has earned several Microsoft global awards for innovation, customer experience, and cross-group collaboration.

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Raquel built her foundation in customer service and operations leadership there before relocating with her family to Dallas, Texas, and later to Florida. She holds an MBA from Simon Fraser University and is a Microsoft Certified Azure AI Fundamentals professional. Fluent in Portuguese and English, she brings cultural intelligence and an empathetic, human-centered approach to everything she does, and she is committed to mentoring leaders navigating global careers and cultural transitions.

Beyond her corporate role, Raquel has turned a lifelong passion for interior design into a business serving high-end builders and international clients in Florida, which can be followed on Instagram under Arvella. She credits her humble beginnings with teaching her perseverance, continuous learning, and the value of sharing knowledge. A champion of authenticity and honesty, she encourages women in technology to cultivate passions beyond their careers, to know their worth, and to prioritize mental health amid industry challenges such as layoffs.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Raquel

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to never giving up. Coming from a humble background taught me to work hard, and I have grown by sharing what I learn with others.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I have received is that we are here to learn, share, and grow.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women to pursue a passion outside of their work, to avoid making decisions based on money alone, and to know their value and their "why."

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Two of the biggest challenges in my field are the fear of layoffs and the state of women's mental health.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Being myself, authenticity, and honesty are the values I hold most dear in both my work and personal life.
