Raquelle W. Lewis

With over 25 years of experience in the transportation industry and public relations, Raquelle currently serves as a Director at the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), overseeing communications and public information for more than 50 counties in southeast Texas, including some of the nation's largest and fastest-growing markets. Collectively, her districts manage over $7B in active construction and have $22B in capital projects planned for the next decade.

Her robust track record encompasses successful management of complex and multi-faceted projects, cross functional team management, consensus building, strategic communications, effective brand and reputation management, risk mitigation, strategy implementation, management of internal and external communications, crisis management, and the establishment of strategic partnerships. Drawing from 15 years as a senior leader and principal point of contact for TxDOT in Houston, she has also held key roles such as Chief Communications Officer, Special Advisor to the Executive Director, Service Line Lead, certified project manager, and senior professional associate.

In addition to her role at TxDOT, she proudly serve as an Independent Director on the Board of CenterPoint Energy (NYSE: CNP), a leading energy delivery company with a $25B market cap.
