Her Story
About Rarity
Over the course of my career, I've been involved in various professional areas including interpreting services, education services, entrepreneurship, small business, and e-commerce. I'm currently the founder and CEO of a newly established small business, working as a solo founder to scale my company toward consistent revenue generation and cash flow. I'm aware of the industry nuances and the various organizations that exist in my fields, from the Chamber of Commerce to the Small Business Development Center and others. While I'm not currently a professional member of these organizations due to capacity constraints, I hope that in due time I will be able to engage with them more fully. Right now, my focus is on managing the significant transitions and business matters that come with founding and building a company from the ground up.

Ten minutes with Rarity
01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
For me, it's not so much about the organization itself, but about the cause. I'm driven by addressing homelessness and houseless communities, poverty, and scarcity in various forms. I believe in doing philanthropic work that makes a real difference in people's lives, whether that's through feeding people, clothing them, or working toward providing transitional housing. I'm also committed to being realistic and responsible with my resources, especially as I build my business. I need to keep my focus on what's most important right now, which is managing my business transitions and ensuring I'm making sound decisions for my company's future.
