Q

What do you attribute your success to?

A strong leader once told me, “We build our success on the shoulders of those who came before us.” I’ve been fortunate to learn from incredible mentors who invested their time, knowledge, and resources into helping me grow and reach my potential. Building a network of strong—especially female—leaders is essential. Young women should take advantage of networking opportunities not only to build their personal brand, but also to surround themselves with the successful, inspiring women they hope to become one day.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I think it’s essential to find your own voice—and to remember that you don’t need to be the loudest person in the room to earn respect or recognition. Focus on building relationships with people whose values and goals align with yours. Ask questions freely; no one is an expert on everything, and curiosity is a strength, not a weakness. A strong work ethic and pride in your craft will take you far, but it’s equally important to stay open to feedback, even when it’s difficult to hear. Growth often comes from the moments that challenge us the most.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be a student of the industry—stay curious, stay engaged, and never stop learning. Ask questions often; that’s truly how you grow. No one starts out as an expert, and the people who rise fastest are usually the ones willing to admit what they don’t know and seek out the answers. Push yourself beyond your comfort zone, because real development happens in the stretch. Try something new every single day, even something small, and lean into the things that intimidate you. The tasks that scare you a bit are usually the ones that shape your confidence the most.

And one last piece of advice: early in your career, there will be countless opportunities to connect with colleagues socially—and you absolutely should. Building relationships outside of work can strengthen trust and open doors professionally. But always remember that reputations are fragile. Careers are rarely made in social settings, but they can certainly be damaged there. You represent yourself, your brand, and your company everywhere you go. Carry yourself in a way your future self will be proud of.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Financial Services has been a male‑dominated industry for more than 150 years, and although we’ve made tremendous progress, there is still meaningful room for growth. Women bring exceptional strengths to this profession—strengths that are not only valuable, but essential. From the ability to build deep, trust‑based relationships to strong organizational habits, empathy, listening skills, and thoughtful negotiation, women naturally excel in many of the areas that drive long‑term success in sales.

My passion is helping women recognize just how much opportunity exists for them in this field. A career in Financial Services isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to create impact, build financial confidence for others, and shape a professional path with unlimited growth potential. I want more women to see themselves here, to understand the value they bring, and to believe in their ability to build highly successful, fulfilling careers in this industry.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My daughters, Britton (11) and Willow (6), are a constant source of motivation and a major reason behind my drive to succeed. I’m deeply committed to my family and friends, and I’m grateful every day for the unwavering support of my husband—my biggest cheerleader.

I believe learning is a lifelong journey. Whether I’m diving into new industry trends or picking up a new skill or craft, I want to approach it with enthusiasm and an open heart. Growth happens when we stay curious.

I also try to practice gratitude in everything I do. Being thankful for what you have—no matter how small—truly matters. Even the simplest moments can become the most meaningful when you take time to notice them. Gratitude shifts your focus from what’s missing to everything that is already beautiful in your life.
