Raya Mahabir

Raya Mahabir brings more than 25 years of expertise in commercial real estate leasing transaction management. Her career began at a boutique law firm where she represented landlords for retail properties. She then transitioned to owner development, managing leasing for shopping centers from Pennsylvania to Florida. Mahabir subsequently joined a Fortune 500 publicly traded wholesale distributor of roofing materials, where she oversaw a portfolio that grew from 200 to 600 locations over four and a half years. She later pivoted to the energy industry with a San Francisco startup focused on electric vehicle charging stations, developing the East Coast market through landlord and owner relationships. A graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in criminal justice and criminology earned in 2005, Mahabir recently relocated from the DC area to Destin, Florida, and is currently exploring her next professional opportunity following a period of corporate transition.
