Her Story

About Raya

Raya Pack is a strategist based in the Nashville metropolitan area who works at the intersection of content operations, brand strategy, and creative execution. Having entered the consulting field earlier this year, she partners with business owners and influencers to sharpen their platform presence, grow their audiences, and prepare for successful course launches. She currently balances this contract-based consulting work with a full-time role as an Operations Manager Intern at Avis Budget Group, and her days are shaped by a mix of client communication, coordinating registrant materials for upcoming launches, and reviewing campaign portfolios each evening. Her broader professional passion lies in helping organizations bring order to their content operations, reinforce their brand identity, and improve alignment across teams so that storytelling translates into measurable growth. Prior to her current chapter, Raya built a diverse foundation of experience spanning administrative support at Heritage Funeral Home, work within a wellness center, and three years managing projects, CRM systems, and client accounts at a venue space—experience that continues to inform her structured, systems-driven approach to strategy today.

Academically, Raya holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Management from Morris Brown College, following her earlier education at Center Hill High School. She is currently deepening her expertise through a dual MBA and DBA program, with her MBA coursework nearly complete, while simultaneously pursuing a doctorate in Strategic Leadership at Edgewood University, with graduation anticipated in 2028. Beyond her academic pursuits, she holds a ministry license and is in the process of completing a SWOT certification, reflecting her commitment to blending strategic rigor with purpose-driven leadership. In recognition of her growing impact, she was selected for inclusion among Influential Women in 2026.

At the core of Raya's professional philosophy is the belief that leadership begins with the individual and that growth requires an ongoing commitment to learning and self-reinvention. She credits much of her success to a mentor who encouraged her, early in her college years, to take the initiative in creating her own opportunities rather than waiting for them to appear—a lesson that continues to guide her approach to both her career and her personal development. Raya sees "becoming" as a continuous process rather than a fixed destination, and she holds firmly to the idea that the only limits she faces are the ones she places on herself. Guided by values of continuous learning, service to others, and the freedom to evolve, she approaches each day as a new opportunity to grow into the person and professional she aspires to be.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Raya

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the advice of a mentor who taught me that I have to be willing to open my own doors and create opportunities for myself. I recognize that my greatest limitation is myself, so I choose not to place unnecessary limits on what I can accomplish. I remind myself that I have the power to reinvent myself every day in pursuit of my goals.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received came from an early mentor during my freshman or sophomore year of college. She taught me that I have to be willing to open my own doors and create opportunities for myself rather than waiting for them to appear. I've come to see becoming as an ongoing process, and I remind myself that there are no real limits to what I can achieve. Every day presents another opportunity for me to grow into whoever I want to become.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Continuous learning, leadership, and service to others are the values I hold most important, both professionally and personally. I also place a high value on giving myself the freedom to grow and reinvent myself regularly, rather than staying confined to who I've been in the past.
