Her Story
About Reanna
My career in technology spans over 23 years and has taken a winding but purposeful path. After graduation, I started in database development and management, along with multimedia work, website development, and film editing. I continued as a database administrator for several years before formalizing my career as a Salesforce architect, where I worked with companies across different industries to build out solutions as close to an ERP as possible using Salesforce. I was then recruited into a law firm environment in a systems architect role, which exposed me to a much broader set of technologies. I quickly moved into management, leading both the project management team and a team of database administrators. Today, I serve as Director of Innovation, where I manage any new technology initiative, including AI initiatives, and my team manages all of the critical information systems of the firm. I'm currently pursuing my master's degree, expected to complete in 2027, and my next goal is executive leadership - I'm on track to be a C-suite member. I'm an active member of the International Legal Technology Association and was formerly part of the Women Who Lead group within that organization. I speak regularly at legal technology conferences, leading sessions on innovation and emerging technologies.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I think a curious mind has been key to my success. I'm in the innovation department right now, and I think that's a really great place for me because I get to see all of the new technology, new initiatives, and be part of anything that's really change-related within the organization. That keeps things interesting. I certainly couldn't be the type of person who does the same thing every single day for years and years and years. That change and growth and learning is really important for me.
