Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of innate curiosity and a willingness to take calculated risks, even in the face of potential failure. I have always approached challenges with a mindset that few obstacles are insurmountable. Coupled with this, my years of experience in operations have honed my ability to coordinate complex projects, manage diverse teams, and execute initiatives efficiently, which has consistently driven successful outcomes.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received was: 'If you’re looking for advice, ask for money; if you’re looking for money, ask for advice.' It taught me the value of seeking guidance from experienced professionals and understanding that true insight often comes with opportunity—sometimes more than a direct financial gain.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to be comfortable with being uncomfortable and to embrace taking chances. Growth happens outside of your comfort zone, and the willingness to take calculated risks often opens doors to opportunities you never imagined.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field is working with kids in a way that has a lasting impact. Often, they may not immediately recognize the lessons they’ve learned or their value. The true reward comes years later, when they reflect back and realize how those experiences have shaped their growth and development.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are kindness and respect. I believe in treating and managing people with empathy, fairness, and integrity, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
