Her Story
About Rebecca
Rebecca Boothroyd is not your average wellness professional. She is a living testament to what happens when you surrender to God's plan for your life and stop letting fear, doubt, and other people's opinions write your story. As a transformational life strategist, Reiki Grandmaster, entrepreneur, and published contributing author, Rebecca has built an extraordinary body of work rooted in one undeniable truth: real transformation begins from the inside out, and it begins with faith.
Rebecca is the founder of Mending Zenful Minds LLC, a holistic wellness brand offering Reiki, sound bath experiences, stillness and reflection practices, spirit-led conversations, and purpose-driven sessions that create space for inner clarity, and Catch Your Breath CPR LLC, a life-saving education company that makes emergency preparedness accessible and empowering for individuals and organizations alike. The dual nature of her work is no coincidence. She believes deeply that God placed both callings on her heart for a reason: to protect life on every level, physical and emotional.
Drawing from her own lived experiences navigating abuse, health struggles, and seasons of carrying far too much alone, Rebecca brings a raw and spirit-led authenticity to everything she does. She does not speak from a textbook. She speaks from the trenches, and from the grace that carried her through them. Her sessions, programs, and workshops create space for the people in the messy middle: the cycle-breakers, the burned-out caregivers, the quietly struggling, who are ready to do the real work and trust that something greater is waiting on the other side.
A certified Reiki Grandmaster and sound bath facilitator, Rebecca is an award-winning practitioner and published contributing author whose voice has also been featured in international publications. A passionate advocate for young mothers, she is committed to helping men & women break generational patterns, walk boldly in their God-given purpose, and build lives that finally feel like their own. Whether she is facilitating a sound bath, delivering a Reiki session, training someone in CPR, or speaking on stage, Rebecca shows up with the same faith-filled conviction: God did not bring you this far to leave you here. You deserve to rise, and it is never too late to begin.

Ten minutes with Rebecca
01What do you attribute your success to?
First and foremost, God. Every door that has opened, every opportunity that has found me, every moment I made it through when I had no business making it through — that was not me. That was divine purpose at work. I simply chose to keep showing up for it. Beyond that, my children gave me a reason bigger than my fear. Knowing they were counting on me meant giving up was never a real option. They kept me going on the days I had nothing left. And I also have to give credit to every single person who told me I could not do it. Every person who said I would never amount to anything, every negative word thrown my way — I took all of it and used it as ammunition. I let it push me, fuel me, and ultimately prove them wrong. They meant it to stop me. Instead, it made me unstoppable. God gets the glory, but I did the work, and everything I have built stands as proof of that.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was advice I had to give myself: trust God, trust the process, and trust yourself. Nobody was going to hand me a roadmap for the path I was walking because this path was designed specifically for me. I had to learn to get quiet enough to hear divine direction, tune out the noise around me, and keep moving even when I could not yet see the full picture. Faith is not just something I practice with my clients. It is how I have built everything.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Put God first and let that be your compass. When you are rooted in faith and clear on your purpose, other people's opinions lose their power over you. Be very selective about whose voice you allow in. Only take guidance from people who have actually walked the path you are trying to walk and made it to the other side. Everyone else, no matter how loud or how close they are to you, is speaking from a place that is not where you are trying to go. Show up for yourself with confidence. Guard your vision like it is sacred, because it is. The naysayers, the doubters, the ones who could not do it themselves so they decided nobody could: they are not your burden to carry. Let them talk. Keep building. God already signed off on your greatness. Now it is your job to walk in it.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the greatest opportunities in holistic wellness right now is the growing acceptance of complementary wellness practices and the ability to serve clients virtually, which means practitioners can reach and support people regardless of their location. That kind of access is a divine gift. At the same time, one of the continuing challenges is helping people look beyond what they have always been told and recognize the real value of what holistic wellness offers. There are still communities and systems where practitioners like me have had to work twice as hard just to be taken seriously. But that is shifting. People are waking up, and I believe that is intentional. When the world starts seeking something deeper, something more meaningful than a quick fix, that is where this work meets them.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Faith is the foundation of everything I do. Without it, none of this exists. Beyond that, loyalty, respect, and integrity guide every interaction I have, both professionally and personally. The people who trust me with their journey deserve someone who shows up fully, tells the truth even when it is uncomfortable, and honors the sacred nature of the space we share. Authenticity matters deeply to me as well. I will never offer something that does not align with who I am or what I genuinely believe in. And above all, empowerment. My goal is never to create dependency. It is to help people find the strength, clarity, and confidence that God already placed inside them, and to remind them that it was there all along.
