Her Interview
Ten minutes with Rebecca
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to personal accountability, perseverance, and having the courage to take meaningful actions for myself. I believe in keeping the promises I make to myself and staying committed, even when the path is challenging. Progress comes from continuing to move forward, learning from experiences, and being willing to step outside my comfort zone.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is: “All you need is 20 seconds of insane courage. 20 seconds of just embarrassing bravery, and I promise something great will come of it.” That message stayed with me and gave me the confidence to make important decisions, including my decision to return to school. Sometimes, taking that brief moment of courage is what opens the door to new opportunities.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women to embrace moments of courage and take action when opportunities arise. Careers are not always linear, and growth often comes from unexpected places. Be open to taking lateral moves, temporary steps, or new challenges, as they can lead to valuable experiences and meaningful advancement.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I see significant opportunities in the continued expansion of clinical trial infrastructure, the growing demand for GLP-1 and weight-loss medication distribution through mail-order pharmacy, and the increasing interest in longevity and emerging therapeutic areas. At the same time, these areas bring important operational and regulatory considerations as the industry continues to grow and evolve.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me are personal responsibility, accountability, perseverance, and continuous self-improvement. I believe that holding myself accountable, staying committed to growth, and consistently striving to improve are essential both professionally and personally.
