Rebecca Dunlap

Rebecca Dunlap serves as a land use planner for Pitkin County in the Aspen, Colorado area. She began her professional journey as an intern at Thistle, an affordable housing nonprofit in Boulder, while studying Environmental Design with a focus in urban planning. After obtaining her Bachelors, she was hired by Pitkin County, where she has spent the past two years approving residential builds in the area. Her work encompasses collaboration with the public and private sectors alike. Her future goals include a focus on furthering conservation easements and historical preservation efforts aimed at protecting the natural environment of the Roaring Fork Valley. Miss Dunlap is currently working toward her AICP certification and aspires to continue to support private landowners in developing their properties utilizing methods that preserve the natural landscape and environment. Outside of her professional role, she enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, and volunteering as an assistant coach for the local softball team.
