About Rebecca

For 18 years, I have been running a tea room that serves as more than just a business - it's a community space where I connect with customers on a deeply human level. My customers are impassioned and interesting people, and I love being able to share our hearts with each other and reflect positive energies, rather than just focusing on making sales. I work alongside my manager, who has been with me for going on 9 years, and together we are developing new tea-related ventures for the future. What drives my work is truly the power of tea itself. Chai, in particular, has ingredients that are naturally uplifting, and I tell people on a regular basis that I wouldn't be able to smile if it weren't for my chai. Tea helps me to be vulnerable and enjoy my time with people. I suffer from depression and have to take antidepressants, but tea is a way for me to not have to depend on them as much. I can elevate myself, and with this, I can serve others, so we can both benefit.
