Maple Grove, MN 55311

Rebecca Hoeft is the CEO and Founder of Morris Hoeft Group, where she helps purpose-driven organizations build brands with intention and impact. Leveraging over two decades of experience across finance, banking, fintech, technology, healthcare, government, and social impact, Rebecca combines bold marketing strategies, design thinking, and neuroscience-backed tools to create authentic, measurable growth. Her lean, agile model provides clients the expertise of a senior marketing leader with the creative, digital, and transformation capabilities of a full team—without the overhead of a full-time CMO. Rebecca’s work has been recognized by Cannes, Hermes, Fast Company, Ragan’s PR Daily, and MSPBJ Women in Business, and she has been named to the Minnesota 500 list of the state’s most powerful business leaders.

The values most important to Rebecca in both her work and personal life are care, curiosity, and community. She believes lasting impact happens when strategy is aligned with intention—when head and heart work together. At Morris Hoeft Group, she partners with organizations to integrate inclusive, ethical, and people-first approaches, leveraging AI, data analytics, and omnichannel experiences to achieve measurable growth while keeping the human element at the center. Rebecca also co-founded MakeLoveLouder.org with her daughter, a creative initiative designed to bring light, love, and inspiration to those facing hardships, offering a platform for self-expression and meaningful connection.

Beyond her professional work, Rebecca enjoys traveling with her blended family and supporting the arts through her community initiatives. She is deeply committed to mentoring and empowering others, particularly women in finance and marketing, and serves as co-founder of Twin Cities Finance Women, a member of the Corporate Development Committee for Global Minnesota, and a past board member of the Community Development Bankers Association. Recognition is gratifying, but what truly drives her is helping people, organizations, and communities thrive in ways that are authentic, human, and lasting.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of strategic thinking, building high-trust relationships, and connecting disparate elements within organizations. My career began in technical writing, transitioned into public relations, and ultimately led me to launch Morris Hoeft Group, where we embed CMOs into small to mid-sized organizations to drive growth and purpose-driven impact. One of my proudest achievements was helping a community bank grow from $500 million to $2.4 billion over ten years without mergers or acquisitions. In my current role, I partner closely with CEOs, founders, and cross-functional teams to align digital and marketing strategies with organizational values, leveraging generative AI, predictive analytics, and design thinking to create seamless experiences. I am deeply committed to fostering inclusive, ethical, and people-first approaches while mentoring and learning from inspiring leaders, and I encourage young women entering marketing to focus on understanding business fundamentals, using technology thoughtfully, and building relationships with those who uplift and inspire them.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from Andrea Markstrom, CIO of New York City’s nonprofit I.Will, who has dedicated herself to bringing young women and leaders together to expand their networks, share mentorship, and inspire one another. Andrea taught me the importance of connecting with others not just to advance professionally, but to uplift and equip each other with the tools and guidance needed to grow in both career and personal life. Her example has shaped how I approach my work and relationships—focusing on collaboration, intentional mentorship, and creating opportunities for others to thrive. As I continue my own journey, I am passionate about leveraging my experience to influence meaningful change, champion causes that matter to me, and provide guidance that empowers others to reach their potential while staying true to their values.
