Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience, purpose, and the ability to turn pain into purpose. After 20 years in federal service, my personal journey through domestic violence inspired me to use my voice and leadership experience to help others reclaim their own. Every chapter of my career, from government operations to advocacy and consulting, has been driven by my commitment to creating structure, healing, and empowerment for those who need it most.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this field is to remember that self-care is not optional...you can’t pour from an empty cup. Take time to heal, ask for help when you need it, and give yourself permission to rest and rebuild along the way.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge and opportunity in my field right now is learning to navigate the transition from a long federal service career to entrepreneurship. It is a journey that requires emotional courage, rebuilding identity, and embracing uncertainty while continuing to heal and grow.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are healing, balance, and authenticity. Through therapy, journaling, meditation, and intentional self-care, I’ve learned to honor my mental health without guilt, stay grounded, and be fully present for my children, partner, and my own ongoing growth.
