About Rebecca
Rebecca Stadnik serves as a professor in post-secondary education in Walla Walla, Washington, where she teaches English and technical writing. She entered the field after beginning in secondary education and pursued a master's in teaching followed by a master's in technical writing to prepare for college-level instruction. Stadnik values the open forum of ideas in higher education and finds reward in mentoring students through their learning journeys. She draws on guidance from a mentor who encouraged her to develop her own teaching style. Outside her professional role, she participates in community volunteering through her church, including work with Care Net in Olympia and Letters Against Isolation.
