Reby’s Roots - Holistic Hub

Regenerating Land, Wellness, and Community

Mission

Reby’s Roots exists to restore pollinator health and strengthen rural resilience by integrating regenerative farming, community-supported agriculture (CSA), and holistic wellness programs. Our mission is rooted in the belief that healing the land and healing ourselves are inseparable goals.

The Problem

Two urgent, interconnected challenges drive our work:

  • Pollinator Decline: Bees and other pollinators are essential to global food systems, yet their populations are plummeting due to habitat loss, pesticide use, and climate change. This threatens biodiversity and food security.
  • Rural Wellness Gaps: Many rural communities lack access to affordable, culturally relevant wellness resources. Isolation, limited healthcare, and economic hardship contribute to rising rates of mental health issues and chronic illness.

Our Solution

Reby’s Roots is building a regenerative, community-centered ecosystem that addresses these challenges through:

🌱 Regenerative Agriculture

  • Pollinator-Friendly Farming: Fields planted with clover and native species to support bees and wildlife.
  • Food Sovereignty: Fruit trees, berry bushes, chickens (for eggs), goats (for dairy and land management), and fish in a pond ecosystem provide sustainable, nutrient-rich food.
  • Composting Systems: Organic waste is transformed into nutrient-dense soil using worms, which also support fishing and soil health.
  • Water Resilience: Rainwater harvesting and well systems ensure sustainable irrigation and self-sufficiency.

🧘 Holistic Wellness & Community Healing

  • The Lodge: A central space for workshops, spiritual reflection, praise, and meditation.
  • Outdoor Living: Frame houses with fireplaces and outdoor showers offer immersive, nature-connected experiences.
  • Pastoral and Spiritual Support: Guidance and care for emotional and spiritual well-being.

🐝 Education & Outreach

  • CSA Expansion: Providing fresh, local food while educating families about sustainable living.
  • Pollinator Habitat Restoration: Creating and maintaining environments where pollinators can thrive.
  • Community Engagement: Hosting events and programs that inspire stewardship, creativity, and healing.

Vision for the Future

Launching in 2026, Reby’s Roots aims to become a replicable model for rural regeneration. With funding support, we will scale our CSA, expand pollinator habitats, and share our model with other farms—ensuring a lasting impact for generations to come.

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a blend of hard work, dedication, and unwavering faith. Grounded in my foundation in physical science and enriched by years of diverse experiences in healthcare, I have cultivated a deep understanding of human resilience and holistic wellness. My journey has taught me the importance of continuous learning and prayer, which keep me focused and grounded in my mission. Leading Reby’s Roots is a reflection of my lifelong passion for nature and community, where I aim to inspire others towards healthier living. By reconnecting people with the earth and each other, I hope to create a lasting impact that echoes the values I've cherished throughout my life.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received came from my friend Jenny during a road trip from Washington State to Southern California. As we drove, she encouraged me to consider the idea of working in nature, suggesting I might thrive as a ranger or in a similar role. At that time, I was focused on my nursing major, but her insight sparked something profound within me. It made me realize the importance of aligning my career with my passions and values. This advice ultimately guided me toward founding Reby’s Roots, where I could blend my dedication to health with my love for the natural world, creating a space that fosters wellness and connection.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

To young women entering this industry, my advice is simple: Do it! Embrace your passions and pursue your goals with confidence. Don’t hesitate to connect with others—networking is invaluable. Building relationships with mentors and peers can offer guidance, support, and inspiration. Remember, your unique perspective and experiences are powerful assets. Trust in your abilities, advocate for yourself, and be open to learning from every opportunity. Together, we can create a vibrant community of women ready to make a difference in wellness and sustainability.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is securing sufficient funding to support initiatives like Reby’s Roots. Despite this hurdle, there lies a significant opportunity through our mission, which addresses various pressing issues in wellness and sustainability. Our approach offers tangible solutions to help individuals reconnect with nature and cultivate healthier lifestyles. The key to unlocking this potential is raising awareness about both the problems we face and the long-term benefits our solutions can provide. Educating the community about the importance of holistic wellness and sustainable living can drive the change we need for a brighter future.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are rooted in faith, family, and a deep respect for all of Earth's creatures. First and foremost is my commitment to God, guiding my mission and actions. My children and family come next, as they inspire my dedication to creating a better future. I am passionate about setting an example of stewardship and connection, striving for a world where people come together to learn and cultivate a sustainable, resilient community. Through Reby’s Roots, I aim to embody these values by promoting regenerative practices that heal both the land and ourselves, ensuring we leave a thriving environment for generations to come.
