About Rebekah
She is a systems engineer and aerospace professional with experience in NASA Gateway habitation, ISS mission planning, systems engineering, requirements development, verification and validation, interface control, and flight operations. She currently works as Systems Engineer III for Gateway Habitation at NASA, supporting architecture studies, module requirements, crew equipment trades, and coordination with commercial vendors and international partners. Previously, she served as an ISS Mission Planner and Systems Engineer, supporting crew timelines, maintenance planning, mission requirements, and real-time operations. She holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't be intimidated and go for positions you feel qualified for. A man may only be 70% qualified and still applies, while women wait until 90%. You don't have to know everything to lead a team; you can learn along the way.
