About Regina
Regina Dernbach serves as a corporate hospitality leader managing a Washington, D.C. headquarters. With more than 15 years in the hospitality industry, she oversees office services and a range of corporate events such as panel events, luncheons, happy hours, and hosting dignitaries, often in partnership with the Women's in Congressional Relations. Her career began at a young age in the food industry at establishments like McDonald's and Chuck E. Cheese, fostering a passion for food and beverage that evolved into event management. She emphasizes relationship-driven work, coordinating with catering, AV, IT, security, and other teams to deliver seamless executive-level hospitality. Regina's professional development stems from hands-on experience across roles, supplemented by certifications in food safety and safe alcohol practices as she works toward her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation. She is an active member of Meetings Professionals International (MPI). Outside her professional duties, she volunteers with U.S. Vets on housing cleanups and engages in faith-based community activities including Lent suppers and CCD teaching. Regina attributes her success to building a career defined not only by accomplishments but by the positive changes left behind, guided by the principle of striving to be of value.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Invest in relationships but pair openness with discernment. Not everyone deserves a level of trust, but building relationships with the right people can lead to great opportunities.
