Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my willingness to take initiative and fully engage with challenges instead of avoiding them. I have a love of learning, which has allowed me to succeed across very different roles and industries. I don’t hesitate to step into unfamiliar situations. I focus on figuring things out and adapting, rather than waiting until I feel fully prepared. That mindset of continuous learning and persistence has shaped my growth more than anything else.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to “don’t fight things—learn how to work with them.” I also carry advice from my father: “Try everything—you can’t know if you don’t try.” Both of these have influenced how I approach my career. Instead of resisting change or uncertainty, I focus on adapting, experimenting, learning, and staying open to new directions.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice is that where you are today is not where you have to stay. You are not defined by your current role, your discomfort, or the expectations others place on you. Don’t let stereotypes about education or industry barriers limit you. If something feels wrong or unfulfilling, keep moving forward and actively work toward change, even if it feels uncomfortable. Growth requires pushing through uncertainty, and you are capable of far more than your current situation may suggest.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field is the misconception that a traditional college degree is required to succeed, along with the fear that AI will replace jobs entirely. These concerns create hesitation and uncertainty. However, I see these same factors as opportunities. The industry is evolving rapidly, especially with AI-driven search and digital transformation. Those who are willing to learn, adapt, and stay flexible will not only remain relevant but will also thrive as the landscape continues to change.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are communication, collaboration, and shared purpose. I thrive in environments where people are aligned on goals, communicate openly, and work together without ego or misalignment.

At the center of my work is a commitment to serving family-owned and independent businesses. I care deeply about helping them compete and succeed in an increasingly digital world, where the playing field is constantly shifting.

I measure my success by the real-world outcomes these businesses experience—their growth, stability, and long-term success.
