About Regina
I've been doing it for 11 years, so I definitely have quite a few of those stories. When I was a child I was always surrounded by very nice beautiful events and galas because of my dance background. I moved to Las Vegas and discovered a course for wedding planning and design. I tried it at a small local business, fell in love with wedding sales, and decided to do it on my own and never looked back. I also have a business called Hawaii Weddings Planner and do weddings on four islands there.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I think I personally was born with quite strong drive to work and to make things happen. Being a competitor since I was a child, I was trained into having a goal and working on it hard. I realized quickly and early in life what I want to do for the rest of my life. I found the fields I want to be in and stuck around working hard every single day.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Get experience and get your feet wet in the actual industry with someone else first before jumping into running a business. Go and work in the field for experience first before thinking that you can do it all on your own. Understand the human factor and consumer behavior along with the creative passionate ideas.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The ongoing challenge is figuring out what is currently important for current generations like Gen Z getting married now, their preferences, how they spend money and what they want to celebrate. Maintaining a healthy balance between understanding how to meet your client's needs but also being the expert in the field, staying on top of trends consistently.
