About Regina

She is an accomplished healing justice facilitator, community organizer, and restorative practices leader based in Oakland, California. She is the founder of Urban Bush Queen, where she has designed and developed curriculum for The MotherLine: Alchemizing Trauma Gifting A Legacy online program, curated and facilitated trauma-informed grief workshops and retreats for BIPOC participants and underserved communities, and organized virtual and in-person community grief and healing circles since 2014. She also serves as an Indoor Farming Technician intern at Impact Justice. Her earlier career includes serving as a Mutual Aid Organizer at San Francisco Senior and Disability Action, where she launched the East Bay expansion through member recruitment, trained members in community organizing for policy change around wifi access and food insecurity, co-facilitated anti-racist and disability justice meetings, and co-facilitated a Computer Technology Survival School series addressing the digital divide for a cohort of 32 members, as a Restorative Justice Coordinator at SEEDS Conflict Resolution Consulting, where she designed and facilitated multimedia presentations and trainings for school-wide restorative justice implementation, mentored 28 fourth and fifth grade girls as circle keepers, and facilitated Tier I through Tier III circle processes, and as a Project Manager at Emerson Elementary School, where she permacultured and remodeled an outdoor growing space, introduced an Urban Gardening and Food Justice program for K-5 students, spearheaded a 12-week Horticulture Therapy pilot program for 175 at-risk students, and secured 60% of program funding through PTO, Title 1, and crowdfunding. Her career reflects a deep commitment to healing, equity, and community empowerment through trauma-informed care and restorative justice.
