About Reiona

Reiona Andrews is a seasoned operations and consulting professional with more than 20 years of experience helping businesses create structure, improve efficiency, and scale sustainably. Beginning her career in fashion merchandising, she discovered early on that the strategic and analytical skills she was developing naturally aligned with consulting and operational leadership. Guided by strong mentors throughout her journey, Reiona transitioned from freelance consulting into corporate operations and ultimately back into entrepreneurship, where she now thrives as the Founder and COO of Soutien, LLC.

Today, she partners with entrepreneurs, small business owners, and growing teams as an Online Business Manager, helping them streamline systems, optimize workflows, and build operational foundations that support long-term success. Throughout her career, Reiona has led projects across consulting, retail, hospitality, and business operations, bringing expertise in project management, Agile methodologies, financial oversight, and strategic execution.

Certified as both a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), she is known for translating vision into actionable systems that create clarity and accountability. One of her most notable accomplishments includes contributing to a $500 million theme park revitalization project, where she played a key role in operational coordination and project execution. Her leadership experience also includes managing multimillion-dollar developments, overseeing large-scale event operations, and building operational infrastructures for businesses seeking sustainable growth.

As a woman navigating traditionally male-dominated consulting environments, Reiona attributes her success to confidently making her voice heard and consistently demonstrating her expertise through results. She believes deeply in the power of mentorship, community, and lifelong learning, values that continue to shape both her professional and personal life. Passionate about supporting entrepreneurs through the evolving online business landscape, she focuses on helping clients move away from operating on instinct alone and toward building businesses grounded in systems, strategy, and intentional leadership.

Through her work, Reiona empowers business owners to reclaim their time, strengthen their operations, and grow with confidence.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Reiona

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to making sure my voice is heard and showcasing my skills and talents. It's not necessarily about proving myself, but just demonstrating what I can do and what I bring to the table. Community and mentorship have been absolutely helpful throughout my journey as well. The best career advice I've ever received is to keep going and not stop, and that I already have what it takes within me. In a male-dominated industry, I've learned that speaking up and making my contributions visible has been essential to reaching the level of success I've achieved, including being part of a $500 million project for revitalizing a theme park.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is to keep going and not give up. My mentor told me to keep going, do not stop, and reminded me that I already have what it takes within me. This advice about perseverance and believing in what I already possess has been fundamental to my journey, especially when navigating challenges in a male-dominated industry.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering this industry not to give up. Do the research and continuously learn, because there's something every day that you can learn and incorporate into your business and your personal life. Find community and mentorship, because that support is absolutely essential. Make sure your voice is heard and showcase your skills and talents. Don't be afraid to demonstrate what you can do. The consulting world, especially on the corporate side, is definitely male-dominated, but the entrepreneurial space offers more opportunities for women to create their own path and get their own seat at the table.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in the consulting field right now is the economy, because businesses are trying to stay afloat themselves. However, I see this as an opportunity as well, because more businesses are becoming entrepreneurial and people are moving away from their corporate 9-to-5 jobs that they've had for years, and they want to go out on their own. So it could be both a negative and a positive, depending on the market and the niche. There's also a great opportunity for stay-at-home moms or just moms in general who want to make additional cash flow. It's a great opportunity and space for women, especially those looking for flexible income options.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me are continuous learning, because there's something every day that you can learn and incorporate into your business and personal life. Respect for yourself and having boundaries are crucial, because someone can overstep a boundary or feel that they can overthrow you and continuously throw things at you, expecting you to execute when it's really not your position to do so or within your range of being able to do it. I also value restoration and self-care, which is why I play golf and tennis, love sleeping, and go to the spa to reset myself, not only from the overwhelmingness of work but also life itself. You have to find activities that are fun. I'm part of a book club and do various activities that aren't the norm. Community involvement is also important to me, which is why I'm part of a cleanup crew here in New Orleans, bringing awareness to how the city focuses more on tourist areas versus neighborhoods.
