Renee Hayden

Renee Hayden has dedicated 42 years to the nursing profession, with the majority of her career spent working in cardiac cath labs. She earned her BSN from Mercy College of Detroit after receiving a full scholarship following high school and maintains current ACLS certification, which enables her to manage code situations independently. For the past four years, she has worked part-time, two days per week, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan. Renee is a member of the Michigan Nurses Association, the Michigan branch of the American Nursing Association, National Nurses United, and the AFL-CIO through her union affiliation at Munson. During the pandemic, she contributed to a converted COVID unit in Southfield, Michigan, providing care to ventilated patients for extended shifts.
