Ten minutes with Renee
01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Believe in yourself. Sometimes you are going to question what you're doing, question your future, but at the end of the day, believe in yourself. Whatever you put your mind to, know that it can be accomplished. And that accomplishment is by grit, hard work. And also, not being afraid to reach out and ask for help when needed.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is having or finding or being given knowledge, networking, and understanding. Finding people you can actually connect with and reach out to. Now it's more challenging because people are less likely sometimes to reach out or to help one another because of the dynamics of the world.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Loyalty is always a value of mine. I believe in that wholeheartedly, respect. Honesty, always being transparent. Those are just a few. That's my code that I live by. And then always, you know, wanting to do to others as I would have them do unto me.
