Her career in school nutrition began as a substitute in Chesapeake Public Schools, where her passion for culinary arts and nutrition quickly propelled her into leadership roles. As a School Nutrition Manager, she honed her expertise in menu planning, team management, and program development, consistently emphasizing the importance of both quality and efficiency in school food services. Renee holds an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts with a focus on applied nutrition from the Culinary Institute of Virginia, as well as an Associate’s Degree in Business, Management, and Marketing from Tidewater Community College, and earned her Certified Dietary Manager credential in 2017.

Renee is recognized for her commitment to student wellness, professional development, and leadership in school nutrition. She combines her culinary skills, management experience, and dedication to healthy eating to create programs that inspire positive change in schools.
