Renee Warfield

Renee G. Warfield serves as Coordinator of Multilingual Learning and Family Support in Dorchester County, based in Cambridge, Maryland. She has spent over 20 years in the field of education after growing up in the area as a first-generation college student. Her interest in languages began in high school with Spanish classes, which led her to study abroad in Spain and pursue a career supporting multilingual learners. Warfield started teaching before completing her degree in a high-need school and earned her teaching certification while working full time. She previously belonged to Maryland TESOL and was named TESOL Teacher of the Month. A non-traditional learner herself, she brings personal insight to helping students who face academic challenges and cultural transitions.
