Her Story
About Reshma
I was brought up in India and did my bachelor's in computer science and engineering where I was fascinated with developing websites. I worked in a consultant space for a little bit then came to the United States for my master's degree in information technology and management. My goal was to pursue something in leadership because I like to talk and be extroverted. I completed my degree learning about negotiations, leadership, and healthcare. I started with an internship supporting executives and am now an associate project manager leading projects with cross-functional teams.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I think you should never stop dreaming. If you think you're gonna do something, if at all there is no path as well, when you don't see a certain path to the goal, you still just keep doing it until you're there, and you will definitely be there, and once you're there, you'll just the moment you feel that you did it, it's amazing, it's incredible. So that's something, just stay on, like, go dream big and stay on it.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Keeping up with the industry trends is always a challenge. Right now because mine is a health tech industry, we work a lot on AI-related events. Keeping track of all of it and making sure you're on top of all of it is a major challenge because each day you wake up and you hear different things are happening around you, different AI things are coming up.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Time management and understanding, answering at the right moment. Just having control of what you're doing is very important.
