What do you attribute your success to?
My journey has been shaped by migration, cultural transition, numerous bureaucratic roadblocks as an immigrant and the challenge of teaching English as a non-native speaker. All these made me more patient, resilient and determined. I owe my success to my students, colleagues, and mentors who believed in me and valued my difference as my strength. My humble but principled Indian upbringing, empathy from years of working with diverse learners of all ages and background, and a sense of global service of voluntary teaching of students in Vietnam and rural West Bengal under United Nations initiatives shaped me as an Educator. I realized that language is more than a subject. It is a bridge that connects hearts and cultures. Through that connection, I have found both purpose and success. As a Licensed Professional Educator in North Carolina, I take pride in bringing these experiences together to foster excellence, inclusivity, and lifelong learning in every educational setting I serve.
