Her Story
About Rhea
Rhea Mirani began her professional journey after earning a bachelor's degree in psychology, seeking a more tangible way to help people while supporting organizational growth. This led her to pursue a master's degree in information, specializing in user experience research and design, from the University of Michigan, which she completed in 2024. Since graduating, she has worked at the University of Michigan School of Social Work on an NIH-funded cancer care research study. In her role, Rhea manages responsibilities across product design, UX research, and project management. She engages with stakeholders to identify unmet needs and workflow inefficiencies, translates data into actionable insights, and develops dashboards while overseeing study design, planning, and timelines. Rhea is a strong supporter of women in tech, motivated by her own experiences in a STEM field. She aspires to own and create a product that improves health outcomes, with a particular focus on mental health.
