Her Interview
Ten minutes with Rhiann
01What do you attribute your success to?
I think I've had a lot of strong women that I have been able to look up to and get career advice from, whether that was in college, on sports teams, and both at Allspring and at Payden, and that's something I think has helped me get to where I am.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say don't be afraid to put yourself out there and try different things. I think even within a single industry, there's so many different roles and topics that you can get involved in. And so, the only way to really learn about different things, and different people, and what's going on in the industry, and get kind of a big picture overview of what's going on is to ask around and figure out what's going on, so putting yourself out there.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I think relationships are very important, I think, beyond work and your community, basically. I think personal growth is up there, and so I'm always trying to push myself personally and professionally. And I like to enjoy what I'm doing, so I obviously take it seriously, but I also like to enjoy it.
