Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to, first and foremost, God, because without Him, nothing is possible. I also credit the incredible support that I have from my family and friends along my journey. No matter what I aspire to do, or say I want to do, they support me wholeheartedly. That unwavering support system has been essential to everything I've been able to accomplish throughout my career and personal life.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice that I have ever received was to focus on the things that you can change and not get bogged down with trying to solve every problem that comes across your desk. This advice has helped me maintain perspective and prioritize what truly matters, allowing me to be more effective in my leadership role without becoming overwhelmed by challenges that are beyond my control.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The advice I would give them is to remember that you matter, and to never let anyone tell you you can't succeed or be successful, because you can. As long as you remember your why, and remember who you are and where you come from, you will be able to overcome any obstacle. Don't let anyone diminish your value or make you doubt your capabilities, because you have everything within you to achieve your goals.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges I would say is not becoming complacent and not getting too comfortable where you are. It can be easy to fall into that trap, especially when you have a really good team that you work with and that support you. Staying motivated and continuing to push yourself forward, even when things are going well, is essential to continued growth and success in this field.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Values that are important to me are being honest and trustworthy, and being a person of your word. I believe in standing by what it is that you hold true when it comes to you and your family and what you do at work. How you behave or carry yourself outside of work is also how you carry yourself at work, so maintaining integrity and consistency in all aspects of life is fundamental to who I am.
