About Rhonda
Rhonda H. Colquitt is an early childhood education resources professional with more than 30 years of experience at Kaplan Early Learning Company in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Since joining the company in 1991, she has served as a Sales Associate and Store Manager, building extensive knowledge of educational products and resources designed to support children's learning and development. Her career has centered on assisting customers, developing product expertise, and helping educators and families identify resources that can be meaningfully applied to children's lives.
Colquitt attributes much of her professional success to Kaplan Early Learning Company, which she credits with providing the foundation, training, knowledge, and product education that have shaped her career. Beyond her day-to-day responsibilities, she has remained actively involved in community education for approximately 20 years, participating in events across North Carolina counties. Her outreach has included Smart Start Foundations outdoor activities, new teachers conferences, and Kids Fest, where she introduces educators and families to educational resources and facilitates hands-on make-and-take activities.
Alongside her long-standing professional career, Colquitt is continuing her own education at Bennett College, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Business Administration, with an expected graduation in spring 2028. Her academic pursuits reflect her continued commitment to learning and professional growth. Looking ahead, she hopes to remain connected to the education field while also considering opportunities in medical fields, customer relations, or nonprofit work, with an ongoing focus on helping others.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to Kaplan Early Learning Company, which has provided the foundation that has grounded me throughout my career. The company has given me valuable training, knowledge, and product education that have enabled me to confidently assist customers and understand how educational resources can be applied to children's lives. The experience and knowledge I have gained through the company have played an important role in shaping my professional journey in early childhood education resources.
