Her Story
About Rhonda
My work is built on a simple belief: people deserve someone in their corner who treat their business like it matters, because it does.
I've spent more than two decades in commercial insurance, and in 2021, I found myself serving camps and youth programs. I work with residential camps, day camps, faith based organizations, adventure programs, and youth serving non-profits across the country. These are organizations doing some of the most important work there is, shaping young lives and building community, and they need more than an insurance policy. They need a partner who understands their world.
What that looks like in practice: I'm the person my clients call when a contract lands in their inbox with language on insurance requirements they don't understand or review that the risk transfer is heavily one-sided in favor of the other party, when a claim situation catches them off guard, or when they are facing a renewal market that feels impossible to navigate. I stay close to my clients year round because real partnership doesn't start and stop at renewal.
Professionally, I hold my AAI, AIS, and CBIA designations, and work as a Commercial Insurance Consultant with Morrow Insurance Agency. But what I'm most proud of isn't credential, it's the trust my clients extend to me and the responsibility I feel to honor it.
My faith is the foundation of everything I do. It shapes how I show up, how I treat people, and the standard I hold myself to, in business and in life. I believe wholeheartedly that integrity, consistency, and genuine care for others open doors that hustle along never could. That's the example I want to set as a mom, and it's the standard I bring to every client relationship.

Her Interview
Ten minutes with Rhonda
01What do you attribute your success to?
My foundation starts with my parents. The instilled a strong work ethic in me from an early age, taught me the value of giving my best in everything I do, and made me believe that with dedication and hard work, I am capable of achieving anything I set my mind to.
Above all, I attribute my success to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, because without Him, none of this is possible.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Early in my career, I found myself getting frustrated, caught up in the noise and politics that can come with any workplace. This wonderful colleague gave me advice I've never forgotten: stop getting caught up in all of that, and just keep working hard; because you're working for the Lord, not for man.
On the days I feel defeated, unheard, or when life just feels heavy, I come back to those words. They re-center me. They remind me that my standard isn't set by whoever is watching or not watching. It is set by something much higher. That shift in perspective has carried me through more times than I can count.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Insurance is a relationship business, never forget that. You can have every designation, every market access, and carry every tool available, but if people don't trust you, don't feel send by you, or don't believe you genuinely care about their success, none of it matters. Build real relationships. Show up consistently, Be the person your clients and colleagues can count on, not just when it's convenient.
Learn your craft deeply, find what excites you, and own it. A niche building on genuine passion and expertise will take you further than chasing every opportunity that comes your way.
And to the women trying to balance a career with raising a family, I see you. There will be seasons where it feels like you can't fully show up in either place, and that tension is real. Give yourself grace in those moments. You don't have to choose between being an incredible professional and incredible mother. The dedication, empathy, and resilience it takes to do both will actually make you better at this work than you realize.
Stay true to your values above all else. Your integrity is your greatest asset, protect it fiercely.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The commercial insurance landscape is as complex as it's ever been. For the last several years we've dealt with tightening underwriting guidelines, capacity issues in certain markets, and premiums that climbed across nearly every single line of business. For clients, it meant renewals felt unpredictable and coverage conversations that required more explanation and strategy than ever before. While the market is shifting in a positive direction, today's environment demands a deeper level of expertise, advocacy, and preparation. With new generations entering the workforce, new Artificial Intelligence platforms launched everyday; it is important to stay ahead, be more open to the evolving technology to stay ahead.
Camp and Youth Programs continue to face marketplace challenges. Abuse and Molestation Liability, Auto Liability, and the Excess Liability coverages have created a landscape that can feel overwhelming without the right guide.
There are many organizations across the country that are underserved, underinsured, or working with a an agent who doesn't truly understand the insurance and challenges each industry may face. It is important to work with an agency who specializes in the particular area.
Between the insurance landscape, artificial intelligence, lack of people entering the insurance field, this is a pivotal time in our industry, and I'm happy to have the opportunity to be apart of this shift.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Faith is my foundation in everything. It guides how I treat people, how I make decisions, and how I show up on the days when things are hard. My relationship with God isn't something I leave at the door when i come to work. It's woven into everything I do.
Integrity is non-negotiable for me. Your word and your character are everything.
Hard work is something I was raised on and something I carry with pride. I believe in doing the work, not cutting corners, not looking for the easy path, but showing up fully and giving my best regardless of who is watching.
Family. Being a mom is the most important role I have. Everything I work toward is rooted in the example I want to set for my sons.
