About Rhonda
Rhonda Sepulveda is the Parish and Government Relations Coordinator for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. She began her association with the organization in 1985, left in 1992, and returned after volunteering during her time away, ultimately building a 26-year career focused on connecting with priests, politicians, and community members. In this capacity, Sepulveda serves disenfranchised populations throughout a 10-county region that includes hubs in Houston, Fort Bend County, and Galveston, while also helping to organize initiatives such as the inaugural advisory board for a new facility. Her work draws on prior experience in the private sector involving government relations, infrastructure, and political campaigns through the Greater Houston Partnership. Sepulveda holds a high school diploma and has advanced her professional development through participation in think tanks and work with brilliant minds at the organization. She is a national facilitator on Catholic social teaching with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and holds several leadership roles, including board member of Fair Jobs Houston, chaplain for LULAC Council 60, member of the mayor's clergy committee, and executive committee member for the Metropolitan Organization. Sepulveda describes herself as a strong networker and connector whose day-to-day responsibilities vary widely, often extending from eight to 14 hours as she builds relationships and raises support for the Archdiocese's 64 ministries.
