About Ridhima
Ridhima Sharma is a technology and insurance professional with over 12 years of experience across product management, business analysis, and P&C insurance transformation. She specializes in Guidewire implementations and insurance systems digital transformations. With a background in engineering, she began her career through a campus placement at Accenture. She is currently a Senior Guidewire Consultant and is pursuing an MBA at Emory University Goizueta Business School, expected to complete in May of next year, with goals to move into leadership and program management roles.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Build deep expertise and be a subject matter expert. Do not undervalue or undersell yourself. Position yourself as someone who brings judgment and stakeholder management. Understand the full business including premium growth, loss ratios, and how the company makes money. Learn technology changing insurance like core platform modernizations and Guidewire. Always ask for next opportunities even if not 100% ready.
