Her Interview
Ten minutes with Rini
01What do you attribute your success to?
It's definitely hard to pinpoint on one, because it's always been driven by the folks who have been around me, who have continuously supported me during my journey, like, parents and family as I grew up. And now my, you know, husband and, and, but something that I endured, or what have, One, I would say, personality trait that kind of keeps me going is probably the grit. I think, Having that grit to just continue doing and continue to be here is what Helps me, be successful.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Just do it. It's straightforward, and maybe cliched, but I, like, you know. in my experience, and also in my, and from a lot of people that I lean onto for both professional and personal advice. I've always, been, you know. told by folks to not second-guess it, don't think it, just do it. And... Yeah, and then if it... It works out great, if it doesn't, you have different... you all have a different chance, you know, a different, what do you say? Something to lean on to, that's okay.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I think this is going to be quite similar to what, we usually talk about and preach. ... as women, we have to juggle a lot of things. Right? That people don't really know of, or don't really understand. ... personally, I've always felt the need of constant validation, so the one thing, if I were to say for the younger women and the generation upcoming is. Just... don't seek for validation. Be confident and... There's enough people to put you down, so don't... don't ever second-guess yourself.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I think it's kind of touching upon my previous answer, which is challenges and opportunities both can come from the fact that we are in a pivotal moment, in our... in the world where AI is... has just, boomed, and... all the companies, all of us, both professionally... both professionally and personally, are at that inflection point where we are trying... trying to evaluate how humans and agents work together. ... As a woman in tech, with AI coming into place, that's one of the biggest, challenges, in terms of how AI can help solve businesses. Business problems, but at the same time. And it also helps us. you know, grow, over a period of time. How do we coexist, over a period of time is also the biggest area of opportunity, that we are trying to figure out.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I think, some of the values that Salesforce truly stands for are what I resonate with, which is what made me join, Salesforce in the first place. So, trust, you know. ambition to continuously keep helping and giving back to the community are some of the pillars that I stand by.
