Her Interview

Ten minutes with Rinku

01What do you attribute your success to?

I never gave up. I'm always striving for success, so I never gave up, like, I've been told several times... I was very strong-headed, like, I really want this.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Never stop learning, regardless of the kind of education you had, you need to learn. I was always curious about technology, so that gave me a path where I always was curious to know about the things.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be yourself, like, express yourself. Do not hide, do not keep things to yourself, express yourself. People will always judge you, even if you don't say it. Throughout my life, I've experienced that, you know, no matter what situation you're in, you'll be judged.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

When I got into this programming, I was challenged by a lot of men. They couldn't see that a woman is doing what I've been doing. So it was that was pretty much challenging for me, to be very frank.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

My value is, like, you have to be honest. That's one of the things which you need to know. And also, I feel that, you know, I am feel responsible. If you feel responsible for anything you take initiative for, and when you are responsible, then you will execute anything which you are taking over successfully, or at least dedicatedly. And I also believe that everything happens for us because of God. They direct us, they give us all the directions, they help us in every way.
